Insanity Pure Cardio & Cardio Abs

Insanity.....I'm nervous always before but feel like a million bucks after. Planning to sweat buckets and crush the warmup. I'm predicting eating today will be more of a challenge than yesterday. I'm sure the hunger pangs will hit. Staying focused and plan on eating every 4 hours. Coffee in the afternoon will help! And yes, I'm going crazy for my kids.....
Have a super day!!!

P90X Chest & Back DONE!

Had a great upper body workout! Loved working out with Melissa. She rocked it and made it right to the end.

My goal with upper body is to master my technique in all styles of pushups. Their is nothing more sexy to me than a woman being able to crank out men's style pushups!!!! Definition & lean muscle are my focus. Need to pick up 25lbs & 30lbs weights....ready to BRING IT!!!! See ya tomorrow. Will take some photos too!! Sweet Dreams.....

I so miss my kids. Praying for sweet dreams for both of them. 4 more sleeps.....Thank you God for Piper & Roan!!

Eating....

Food - This summer it has remained that. Food. Not Fuel. Fitness to me means working my body to it's maximum and fueling my body with food that will allow this to happen. The fitness equation is 20% workouts and 80% nutrition. That is my daily motto. I have made my self a rough daily food intake, I'm a pro at what my body needs, I just need to do it!!! The focus is PROTEIN & H20!!! Chicken, powder, canned tuna, fish, protein pancakes, protein bars.....little side note...I'm missing my babers.....I will conquer hunger first with water, I will eat 6 small meals a day and will stop carbs b/w 3:00 & 5:00.

I've rocked this before and plan on getting to that point in the next 2 weeks. What a difference in my body when I eat to FUEL.

I plan to get my metabolism soaring in the next 2 weeks. Every minute of the day I will be in check and on task....once I get there, there will be NO turning back. Breaks over.....time for HARD WORK!!!!

8km run, Chest & Back & ARX.

Back on track....I've been off schedule for the past month due to summer holidays, kids being home and not being totally focused. I've gone for a few runs outside and have fallen back in love with the escape in life it gives me. It's been awhile since I put on my runners and filled my ears with my God tunes and head out into the wind and thought about life all while getting a wonderful workout.

Today I had a very deep, emotional run. Yes, there have been days when I hope those that pass me, think the bead running down my cheek is sweat, but in all reality running is sometimes where my emotion becomes raw and unguarded.

I dropped my babers off at camp yesterday....I miss them so much. For the first part of my run I tried very hard to picture their faces, and then I started to pray for them. This is when I began to "sweat". As much as I prayed for their safety, I also prayed in thankfulness that both have this opportunity and that I am blessed with what I have.

Hoping to have a partner for Chest & Back tonight....if not I won't disappoint ;).

It's not just about me...

Today I set out on my 8km run. I love to run in the heat. My son & daughter like joining me on their bikes. But today my daughter asked to join me and run with me. She is quite the little athlete. We started out great and were visiting and I could tell she was getting winded. After trying 1 min run, 1 min walk, she started to cry and said I can't do it Mom. Many things happened in that minute. I was proud of her for listening to her body and stopping. I was proud that she got that far. But most of all I was proud of me for being an healthy example and setting a standard for myself that she was trying to mimick! We ended up walking back and trying to take short cuts that turned into long cuts....but through it all I was so proud of her. Tomorrow, she wants to try again. Not so far Mom, but maybe by the end of summer I can do it......just like you!

I am finally here....

Welcome to my Blog! FITNESS!! It's my passion. It's what I work so hard at. It's what I dream about.

Thank you for checking me out. My hope & dream is to have you visit often because you are inspired, you feel connected and you feel safe. I'm hoping to share my fitness journey with you, successes & struggles. In return, I hope you share with me yours. I am no professional yet, but I have plans once my family gets a bit older. In the meantime, I hope to share my knowledge with those who need it and offer my opinion to those who want it.

Fitness fuels my passion for God, my family, life and the beliefs I have. My daily sessions give me time to reflect on my life and who I want to be and what I want to do with my life and offer this world.

Yahoo!!! Here we go!!!
